The Prefontainie Classic is held in honor of Steve Prefontaine, a world-class, long-distance runner who grew up in Coos Bay, ran for UO, at the 1972 Olympics, and for the Oregon Track Club. Get your tickets today!
June 12
Run/Walk #4 is held at Maurie Jacobs Park on June 12. Run or Walk with friends and family , meet other runners, and test your fitness. Sign up today to participate! The next Run/Walk is August 14 at Dorris Ranch Park.
July 4
The 51st Butte to Butte is held July 4, beginning with a 5K at 7:30 a.m. The 10K race follows at 8 a.m., followed by the 4 Mile Mayor’s Fitness Walk at 8:30. Celebrate after your race at the Finish Festival! Sign up to participate!
July 2
All Comers Meets start July 2 with the All Comers Meet at the Prefontaine Classic. Youth ages 12 and under are welcome to participate in this meet. Sign up today for July 2’s meet. All Comers continue through July and during the second week of August.
