OTC hosts one of three regional-based training centers for elite Nike athletes in Oregon, Arizona, and Utah
Ex-Duck, Jorinde Van Klinken, the World Championship silver medalist in the discus, has joined Oregon Track Club’s professional track and field team.
Van Klinken began her collegiate career at Arizona State University under the auspices of throws coach Brian Blutreich. While a Sun Devil, Van Klinken won two Pac-12 discus and one loop shot put title, an NCAA indoor shot crown, and two outdoor collegiate national titles in the discus, as well as a runner-up finish in the shot put.
Van Klinken transferred from ASU to Oregon to continue her mentorship under Coach Blutreich and to earn her Masters in Business Administration (MBA).
A native of the Netherlands, Van Klinken is a global traveler, attending training camps in South Africa and Eugene, and competing at numerous ports of call.
