Three OTC Elite athletes set indoor mile PRs

EUGENE, Ore. - A trio of Oregon Track Club Elite athletes established personal bests in the indoor mile at the UW Invitational in Seattle on Feb. 1.

Hanna Green, a World Championship qualifier in the 800 meters, sliced nearly 20 seconds off her previous best with a third-place time of 4:28.06 on the 307-meter oval track at the University of Washington's Dempsey Indoor facility. Chanelle Price placed ninth with a two-second PR of 4:41.65. It was her first indoor mile race in six years.

Former Oregon standout and NCAA Indoor champion Sabrina Southerland took third in the 800m at 2:04.10.

On the men's side, Vincent Ciattei and Hassan Mead placed eighth and ninth, respectively, in the mile. Ciattei hit the tape in 4:01.09, while Mead, who was running his first indoor mile in eight years, finished with a six-second PR of 4:01.38.
